Float the Boise
The official float season opens on the
Boise River is Friday June 20th! 🙌
🦆 The locals (our abundance of fowl and other critters) will be joined by us humans… Please be courteous!
🛟 🚣🏻You can rent a tube and raft at Barber Park from Boise River Raft & Tube. Credit card and matching ID required. Waivers are available online, to save time… complete online beforehand.
If you bring your own… bring a pump as there are no air stations at Barber Park.
👉 Wear a properly fitted Personal Flotation Device (PFD) and note they required for anyone under 14 years of age.

‼️ Watch for rocky, shallow areas as well as any overhang of tree branches to avoid collision, injury or damage to your watercraft.
‼️ Alcohol on the driver is ILLEGAL.

Free Summer Concert Series on The Grove Plaza
Concert Goers Guide:
Alive After 5 (AA5) is Boise’s longest running, all-ages, FREE outdoor summer concert series produced annually by Downtown Boise Foundation. AA5 fills The Grove Plaza Wednesdays, June through July 5-8pm, with a mix of nationally and internationally touring artists and local talent.
AA5 celebrates diversity and inclusion. Music is a shared experience that brings people from all backgrounds together; we strive to create a community event where everyone feels welcome and a part of Downtown Boise.
A few notes to make your free concert experience the most fun:
👉 PLAY! DT Plays will be onsite! Kiddos and adults alike can enjoy free games and fun while listening to the concerts. Also make sure to visit partner booths at each concert for games, giveaways, and merchandise.
💦 STAY COOL! A variety of cold beverages, including N/A, will be offered for sale. Beer, wine, and seltzer options require a wristband - don’t forget your ID! Tips collected at the bars benefit that concert’s partner non-profit. A water fountain is also on site – and the splash pad is on!
🙌 HAVE FUN! Dance! Stomp! Clap! Fans of all ages will be enjoying the concert right alongside you – make them feel welcome!
👉 AA5 FOR ALL! Accessible bathrooms are provided, and most furniture is movable. Staff are ready and happy to help! Accessible parking stalls can be found throughout downtown and in the nearby public parking garages. Medical services will be on-site; the info booth serves as a N/A bar and family reunification station.

What started in the early 1900’s as a small, local bucking horse competition, the Snake River Stampede has evolved into one of the top ten professional rodeos in the United States AND the biggest, wildest, fastest major professional sports event in Idaho…and if you think that’s a mouthful, well you haven’t seen a jaw-dropping Rodeo like this before!

Treasure Valley PRCA Rodeo- Thirty-six years of rodeo action!
This year will be a special year for the Treasure Valley Rodeo! We will be celebrating our 36th Anniversary in the heart of Meridian. Come on out and enjoy all of the fun and excitement of this rodeo! All proceeds from this event go to the Lions Projects and Project Expenses.
Formally known as the Meridian Lions Rodeo and re branded as Treasure Valley Rodeo, we as the Treasure Valley Lions have a new vision of purpose and passion. Come celebrate with us on June 27th - 28th, 2025 in Meridian, Idaho. This rodeo is held at the Treasure Valley Rodeo Grounds and Sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) as part of the Wilderness Circuit and co-approved with the Columbia River Circuit.

Sparklight Movie Night - Meridian
Meridian Parks & Recreation is thrilled to announce the return of Sparklight Movie Night for the 2025 summer season! This beloved community tradition kicks off on Friday, May 30, and continues every other Friday night.
Settlers Park is packed with family-friendly attractions, including the Adventure Island Playground, a brand-new splash pad, a climbing rock, cornhole courts, a sound garden, and a fishing pond. Concessions will be available for purchase, or feel free to pack your own picnic.

Eagle Fun Days will be June 27 - 28.
This year is the 54th year of Eagle Fun Days! The event is a celebration of our great city, and will include many community groups providing fun activities for all to enjoy. And where Eagle Fun Days has changed many times over those many years, it will always be an event to celebrate Eagle, Idaho and how great this community is.

There will be free family activities including carnival rides, inflatable bounce house and water slide provided by Mr. Idaho Inflatables. There will be kid’s activity booths from local organizations and businesses, a DJ playing music, food trucks, and more!
